I am a confessed lure addict. I carry about 40 lbs of lures with on my boat. I cannot pass up a fishing store without buying something. I simply like to buy and then cast new lures. I like to feel them in my hand, clean and un-wetted. I bought my first lure in 1963 from Mr. Olberg for $1.39, a twin prop, surface contraption that I snapped off on the first cast....before it hit the water. My wife once bet me I couldn't fish an entire season with just five lures.....I did it and she paid! (rubber worm, jitter bug, spinner bait, jerk worm and a jig). I'm from New Jersey but if'n I want to talk like, " I be throwing dis here jig into dat wood yonder way and prayin fer a bite, I tell you what..." then mind your own business. That's sum funny shit right thar.....
